Imagine your birth doula as your trusted ally — the friendly face cheering you on through this incredible journey of childbirth. With me, you'll have personalized care that never wavers. Whether we're crafting your birth plan or providing comfort during labor, I'll be right there, ensuring you feel empowered, heard, and nurtured every step of the way!
This is a free visit where we get to know each other and determine whether we're a good fit.
We will meet several times to create your birth plan. We'll also talk about how your partner will support you during the birth. I am not there to take their place.
On the big day, I will be there to support you whenever and however you choose.
We were able to stay home until the very end, allowing our time in the hospital to be brief. Having you in the room, massaging my back, giving me words of encouragement and support, and reminding me to “breathe” especially when moments of panic overtook me, was priceless and gave me the will and ability to have the natural childbirth that we had envisioned (yet never really thought would happen.)
Think of these birth education classes as your trusty guide for the amazing journey ahead. They're designed to arm you with knowledge, melt away any worries, and boost your confidence. When you understand the ins and outs, your options, and useful techniques, you'll feel more in control and ready to make choices that lead to a positive and empowered birth experience.
You need someone to reliably show up, answer your questions, and provide support along the way.
