We acknowledge the four nations of Siksikaitsitapi: the Kainai, Pikani Nation, the Siksika Nation and the Blackfeet Tribe of Northern Montana. Traditional lands of the Blackfoot cover areas in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Montana. Blackfoot lands run from The Yellowstone River in the state of Montana to the north and south of the North Saskatchewan River in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. This sacred gathering place provides us with an opportunity to engage in and demonstrate leadership on reconciliation.
